55°F STORAGE

The Wine Cellarage is located in a former bank vault. It is the most secure and deeply entrenched location of the historic landmark American Banknote Company Building in Hunts Point, New York. Constructed in 1911, this expansive industrial fortress was designed to house facilities for the printing manufacture of international currencies. It is a wonder of industrial engineering, perfectly suited to wine storage.

Monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and surrounded by a massive brick façade 3 feet thick, the Wine Cellarage comprises 17,000 square feet of fully armed, state-of-the-art wine storage specially designed and fabricated by the Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Group.

Now a burgeoning cultural center, the American Banknote Company Building is also home to The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance and fine art studios. Soon to come is a sprawling European-style roof garden, part of an urban greening project sponsored by Con Edison.
