Bright yellow. Very pure aromas of stone fruits, spices and flowers. Smooth, ripe and rather elegant on the attack, then quite rich in the middle, with impressive volume for the year, no doubt due in part to the later harvest. Plenty of extract here. Limey minerality gives a slightly bitter firmness to the finish.

A more expressive and airier nose that features high-toned notes of white flower, pear, white peach and mineral hints is followed by rich, naturally sweet and racy medium-bodied flavors that possess ample size, weight and sap on the solidly persistent finish. This will drink well almost immediately and I like the underlying sense of tension here.
