An inexpensive introduction to just how beautiful a Charvin offering can be is the gorgeous, value-priced Cotes du Rhone Les Poutet, a 3,000-case cuvee made from about 80% Grenache, and the rest Carignan and Syrah. Made in a similar style to the 2001, the 2000 Cotes du Rhone Les Poutet is a natural, unmanipulated product of its vineyard.
