The 1999 Palazzo della Torre is a proprietary blend of 70% Corvina, 15% Rondinela, 10% Syrah, and 5% Sangiovese aged 17 months in small French foudres. Its bouquet reveals notions of spicy new oak along with chocolate, black currants, cherries, licorice, and tar. Deep, full-bodied, and layered, with a supple texture.

A gorgeous wine. This shows beautiful perfumes of ripe fruit, with hints of spicy oak and dried flowers. Full-bodied, with superfine, silky tannins and a long, long finish.
