Eugène-Aimé Salon dreamt of creating extraordinary Blanc de Blancs Champagne from the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. In 1911, he established Champagne Salon and began crafting the wine of his dreams, Champagne from 100% Chardonnay, with great success. Le Mesnil, located in the Côte des Blancs region of Champagne, produces Chardonnay grapes of superior quality that impart vibrancy and youth to these rare Champagnes. Champagne Salon makes only this wine and only in the very best years. In the entirety of the 20th Century, only 37 vintages were released. This is indeed one of the finest, most unique wines in the world, a true connoisseur’s Champagne.
